About Scruffy 2 Fluffy

The Salon

Our Dog Groomers and Pet Parlour is based in Wymondham, Norfolk, near Norwich has been around for many years with easy parking next to Myhills Pet Centre.

Scruffy 2 Fluffy run it in a relaxed way, there is a small gate to stop dogs from escaping, so they can feel free to run around the salon to play. There are beds and toys for them to use too! I have a disabled toilet that I am happy for customers to use, and please ask if you would like a cuppa while you wait!

We also like to do a lot of charity work too, so if you would like me to advertise any money raising you are doing, let me know how i can help! Every Christmas we do a charity raffle hamper and 2015, we raised £60 for the local Dogs Trust. all the money went towards agility equipment for them to use! I would love to do more for charity this coming year so watch this space!

Samantha

My name is Samantha and I launched Scruffy 2 Fluffy. I always wanted to work with animals since i could walk! I’ve had many different jobs working with animals from racing stables to aquatics! But the most enjoyable job I had was in a dog grooming salon for work experience! I needed at least 300 hours for my extended diploma in 2011 and I just never left really!

After college, I went travelling around Asia for 6 weeks and decided that grooming is what I wanted to do, so my work experience supervisor built me a room to rent off of her in Dog Grooming Salon. Then Scruffy 2 Fluffy was born! I worked in watton for around 6 months before deciding to go set up my own Dog Groomers and Pet parlour in Wymondham, Norfok, Near Norwich in August 2014, and from there, the salon has grown extremely popular! I have met so many special clients and their owners, with all their unique personalities! I wouldn’t change my job for the world now!

My future plans are to expand and have a dog hotel and spa! Where the dogs aren’t kept in kennels the whole time and can enjoy themselves with hydrotherapy pools, a dog grooming salon and fenced off woodland walks, so all dogs can enjoy off lead walks, with the safety of them not escaping! They will all have their own personal bedrooms with a private garden area, large enough to keep families of dogs together. You’ve got to dream big right?

Rosie!

This is Rosie, yes she is a dog, but she is a member of the team! She comes to the salon most days to play with the customers. If you are ever up for meeting up for a dog walk or a swim, I’m sure she will be up for making any new friends!. She definately loves meeting all the new owners and their lovely pets.

She was a rescue dog from the local Dogs Trust. She was such a cute bundle of energy at 10 weeks old in 2014 and very easy to train. She can even put the washing in the washing machine! Her favourite toys are tennis balls and teddies. although she likes to suck on the stitching so has many teddies with no arms or legs!
